A Childs Teaset In The Blue Willow pattern
A 15 piece childs teaset in the Blue Willow pattern consisting of 5 plates 3 3/4", four 3 3/8 saucers, a teapot that is 3 1/4 tall by 4 1/4 wide, a creamer which is 2 1/2" tall by 3" wide and a sugar that is 2" tall by 2 1/2" wide. There is an oval platter that is 6 1/4" long by 3 7/8" wide, also a tureen that is 2" tall by 4 1/2" wide. And finally a two handled round platter that is 5 1/8" wide to the handles.

There is the tiniest fleabite to the two handle platter and one of the plates has a factory flaw, otherwise the set is in excellent condition. The set was made in Occupied Japan.

The Blue Willow pattern originated in China and has a very romantic history of star crossed lovers. it was made in Britain first by Minton and others followed suit.
