| A fine early Leeds pearlware chestnut basket and undertray decorated in a blue pastoral transfer. The tray is reticulated and has a basketweave border. Set to the center is a blue and white transfer of chinoiserie design. The inside of the basket shows the same transfer, but smaller. The rim to the outside of the basket is decorated in a fine geometric design. The condition is mint, and the basket and tray date C 1770. The tray is 7 1/2" long and is oval. The basket is oval and is 6 1/2". A treat for the sophisticated collector and as perfect as the day they were made. | ||
