| A Dresden oval mirror on stand decorated with flowers, garlands and cherubs C 1900. The mirror stands 9" tall and is 6" wide. Backed with its own stand it is a perfect vanity mirror, and could be fitted easily to be hung. Starting at thebottom center there is a very protty blue bow and cabbage roses above it. The mirror is decorated in tones of blue and white and the garlands of roses go up the sides from the center. The top at the center is decorated with two cherubs, with touches of yellow in their hair and on their wings. Each is holding a garland of flowers which sets off the center very nicely. The mirror is beveled which is one of the indicators of the age of the piece, that and the colors used in the decoration. The back is wood and the initals R is at the top of the mirror at the back. A beautiful and graceful piece for your vanity table or wall. | ||
