A 19th Century creamware childs plate with a beautiful polychrome painted border with a black transfer cartouche to the center titled Love Between Brothers & Sisters. The plate is scalloped and there are swags of flowers painted in shades of blue, pink and green. C 1840 This is one plate I have never seen, and I have had hundreds. The transfer reads: Love Between brothers and Sisters. Birds in their little nests agree. And tis a shameful sight. when children of one family, fall out and clude and fight. The word clude and fight is Old English and this plate is really a childs plate collectors delight. There is a firing crack to the plate at 5 o'clock which in no way detracts from its value. The plate measures 6".
