| A popular area of collecting is the religious or biblical interest area of childrens mugs. Made for children as an aid to studies these mugs were transfer decorated and painted by women and children. This transfer reads "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth." And on the reverse says "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." This mug is perfect and dates about 1840. | ||
