| A very unusual piece of folk art, a basket made entirely of bottle caps. Swags and loops make this piece of folk art a very graceful piece of sculpture. Usually done by prisoners of war or itinerent artists this is a piece of unusual Americana. Probably dating C1900 or earlier it is an intricate design, and I can't think how many individual pieces are involved in its making. The basket is tall and from side to side. I had it filled with Victorian beaded flowers and the look was just dynamite. | ||
