A Painted Dutch Country Childs' High Chair
An early 19th century allover painted childs' high chair. Decorated in florals and swags it has a door in front which opens to reveal 2 shelves. The chair dates 1840 and stands 42" high 21"wide and 18"deep. At the back is a knob for easy mobility. The tray is painted and decorated as well, and the chair is in excellent condition with no repairs to the paint. This makes for a charming accent for any decor or to use for a very lucky child. The chair is Dutch, made in a town called Hindeloopen, and they are very desirable.
