Showing four of a set of eight plates with hand painted transfer decoration in the Flora Danica pattern. These are extra large 13' and are used as a place setting which then can be used with other china patterns. There are four different botanicals repeated on three plates making a set of eight. These are shown in the pictures. These are C 1980 and are heavy and show no mark, other than the Flora Danica decoration.

A trifoil dish by Royal Doulton in the rare Matsumai pattern C 1920. The dish is decorated in Imari colors, and has three sections. Each well is 7" and the dish measures 11" x 11".

A Spode platter in red in the Tradewinds pattern C 1960. The platter is 16" x 12" and the transfer is of the ship Albus. The pattern was designed by Denis Emery and issued by Spode in 1960, it is of British and American sailing ships. The red is the oldest and most difficult to find of the colors, and the pattern was discontinued by Spode in 1993. The ceramic body is Fine stone, and the shape is Lowenstoft.

A Llanelly pearlware child's plate from the Robinson Carusoe series. this plate dates ear;y 19th century and is pictured in Embossed Work, Hughes and Pugh. The plate which is 5" is titled Robinson Carusoe Reparing His Wardrobe has a black transfer set to the center. The border which is raised, has been hand painted in red, blue and green. the plate is perfect and is an excellent example of its kind. the back of the plate has a firing crack which is shallow and does not detract from its value. there is a picture of it in the listing.

Exceptional Ironstone Imari pattern large soup by robert Brownfield. This pattern is gorgeous. Vibrant cobalt, sepia and orange, rose, pink, green with gilt highlight all on a white ground. There is a luminous quality to the glaze that does not show in the pictures. The condition is excellent. Measuring 10 1/2" Oriental inspired peony design hand painted transfer on an Ironstone body. Unmarked but unmistakably 19th century, this is an outstanding plate. Displays extremely well on a wall or in a cabinet.

This is a pretty little Victorian trinket box in the shape of a cross. There is a heart at the center with gilt decoration around and hand painted pink flowers in the center. It measures 5 1/2" long and is in excellent condition.

This is an outstanding covered serving dish and cover bearing the Coalport mark, C 1840. Set on a white ground are hand painted Spring bouquets in multicolor palattes. the cover has a cabbage rose for a finial. The ground of the serving dish and cover are impressed with garlands and bouquets. The dish is 13" and the cover and dish stand 9" high. It displays very well on a table or in a cabinet. Excellent condition as usual, and an outstanding addition to your other fine china.
