$18,500.00

Fabulous pair of Federal pier tables C 1820, New york. Made of fine flame mahagany typical of the Federal Period in American furniture. Showing original mirrors and alabaster columns on each side ending at the top with a scroll, gilded for highlight, showing the quality of the tables. Set to the center at the base is is a semi circle of fine marquetry in walnut, the contrast is stunning. The walnut is banded all round at the base which ends in paw feet. The marble tops have long gone, and I never replaced them, although I have a strong feeling that alabaster would be the way to go. Both tables are shown, although not side by side. measurements to come. Provenance, Richard and Eileen Dubrow

Carved into solid walnut the details of the early Louis XV style are expressed in this fine antique French bombe commode. Accented with bronze and green marble top, cabriolle legs and bronze sabots. Primary wood is burled walnut, which is a rich honey color and the marble top is green with a lighter grain and original. The commode is decorated with bronze swags and is altogether an elegant and outstanding example of fine French furniture. C 1910
