Fabulous pair of Federal pier tables C 1820, New york. Made of fine flame mahagany typical of the Federal Period in American furniture. Showing original mirrors and alabaster columns on each side ending at the top with a scroll, gilded for highlight, showing the quality of the tables. Set to the center at the base is is a semi circle of fine marquetry in walnut, the contrast is stunning. The walnut is banded all round at the base which ends in paw feet. The marble tops have long gone, and I never replaced them, although I have a strong feeling that alabaster would be the way to go.
Both tables are shown, although not side by side. measurements to come.

A 19th century allover painted childs' high chair. Decorated in florals and swags it has a door in front which opens to reveal 2 shelves. The chair dates 1880 and stands 42" high 21"wide and 18"deep. At the back is a knob for easy mobility. The tray is painted and decorated as well and the chair is in excellent condition with no repairs to the paint. This makes for a charming accent for any decor or to use for a very lucky child. The chair is Dutch, made in a town called Hindeloopen, and i am told that they are still made today.
