Arlene Noble Antiques

$975

An outstanding and rare pair of Staffordshire dogs with pups. Rust colored dogs sitting on a cobalt blue plinth with a puppy under each dog. The foreleg of each spaniel is guarding the puppy, which is black and brown. They are in excellent condition and it is rare to see this model and rarer still to find a pair. The dogs stand 6 1/2" and are 6" at the plinth. Each puppy's face is different, one is smiling. There is very slight crazing, and the wear to the bottom is age appropriate. These are a real treat.

$225.00

A 19th Century blue and white transfer printed chamber stick in the Pratt's italian pattern. This chamber stick is a jewel. It dates from 1840 according to the mark, and measures 6 1/2" by 5" and is 2 1/2" high. The candle holder has a firing crack at the rim, which does not detract from the appearance or value of the piece; I mention it only for accuracy. This has been well used and loved.

A beautifully decorated large polychrome English ironstone pitcher. The pitcher is 7 1/2" by 4 1/2" but appears larger. The decoration is vining flowers, morning glories, my favorite, and with two different hand painted sides. The pitcher is also decorated in copper lustre, and makes a beautiful display piece. There is a mark to the base and the pitcher is perfect.
